Terms of Use
These terms cover hynoesmp.com, Hynoe Outpost, and the website features described here. Separate Minecraft-server rules, Discord rules, and product-specific terms may also apply.
1. Lawful and fair use
Use the site only for the activities it makes available. Do not disrupt services, bypass access controls, introduce malware, impersonate staff, scam people, expose private information, or infringe another person's rights. Good-faith accessibility tools and ordinary browser features are not prohibited merely because they automate input.
2. Community content and moderation
Community participation is subject to the Community rules. Post only material you are entitled to share. You retain any rights you have in your submissions; this notice does not transfer ownership of user content to Hynoe. Public chat submissions are intended to be stored and displayed to other community participants. Minecraft Chat relays its website posts to the connected Discord channel and Minecraft server. Do not use public chat for confidential material.
Hynoe may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary for safety, security, rule enforcement, legal obligations, or service integrity. Use the private contact route in Data deletion to request review of a Hynoe-controlled record or moderation concern; do not post private evidence publicly.
3. Hynoe's original work and third-party licenses
To the extent Hynoe owns the applicable rights, its original code, written content, artwork, and other protectable expression are reserved. Normal website use includes the browser copies needed to use the service. Public availability does not by itself grant a general right to sell, rehost, or redistribute Hynoe-owned material.
These restrictions do not override open-source licenses, third-party licenses, rights belonging to users or other owners, applicable legal exceptions, or permissions granted by GitHub's own terms for public repositories. Copyright does not give Hynoe ownership of abstract ideas, facts, methods, or material it does not own. See the repository's COPYRIGHT.md for the notice scope.
HYNOE™ and Hynoe Outpost™ are used as source-identifying marks. The ™ symbol does not claim federal registration or clearance of every possible trademark conflict.
4. Minecraft and other platforms
Minecraft, Mojang, and Microsoft names, marks, and assets belong to their respective owners. Hynoe SMP is an independent community service. Mods, libraries, videos, and other third-party material remain governed by their owners' terms and licenses.
Use of YouTube features is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service; by using those features, you agree to be bound by those terms. The Google Privacy Policy describes Google's data practices. Do not use Hynoe features to circumvent platform restrictions or obtain media you are not authorized to use.
Discord, Streamlabs, Modrinth, and other independent services have their own terms, purchase rules, and privacy practices. A link does not make Hynoe their operator.
5. Progression, availability, and automated help
Local saves can be lost when site data is cleared, storage is unavailable, a device fails, or software changes. Hynoe may repair, rebalance, reset, retire, or temporarily suspend features when reasonably necessary. Do not falsify public rankings, exploit other users, or abuse community interfaces.
Ask Hynoe provides automated help that may be incomplete or incorrect. It is not a confidential professional adviser. “Private” help is not posted to Global Chat, but is processed by the help service as explained in Privacy.
6. Age and future paid or account features
The planned initial email-based cloud-save feature is intended for adults 18 or older. This statement is not a claim that existing community tools verify age or obtain parental consent. Follow applicable age requirements and do not submit a child's personal information through community tools.
These website terms do not themselves launch a subscription, paid virtual currency, cash-out, prize scheme, or paid account. Any future purchase needs clear product-specific pricing, delivery, cancellation/refund terms, and legally required disclosures before payment. Existing third-party transactions remain subject to the disclosures and rights applicable to those transactions.
7. Your rights and responsibilities
You are responsible for your device, credentials, and content you choose to submit. Do not share access tokens or another person's private information. Services are provided on an as-available basis, to the extent allowed by law. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer, privacy, accessibility, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Privacy, requests, and changes
Read Privacy for the website's data flows and Data deletion for local controls and private server-record requests. Removing browser data is not a server-side erasure request.
These terms may be updated when features change. Material changes need appropriate notice and any agreement required by applicable law; the current date is shown above. They do not assert complete legal compliance of every Hynoe project or replace product-specific legal review.
