Data deletion

Browser-local saves and online community records are different. Clearing one does not delete the other.

Community records can exist without an email address. Joining the community can create a server-side authentication user and profile. Chat, reactions, reports, leaderboard entries, and Ask Hynoe records are not erased merely by clearing browser storage.

1. Remove browser-local data

Use your browser's per-site storage controls for hynoesmp.com to remove local game progress, preferences, display-name storage, and the community session saved on that browser. Back up progress first where an export control is available. Clearing all browser data may affect unrelated sites.

  1. Decide whether you need to preserve the current local game save.
  2. Open the browser's site-data or storage settings.
  3. Select hynoesmp.com and clear that site's data.
  4. Close other Hynoe tabs so an open tab does not continue using its in-memory session or write local state again.
  5. Reopen the site only when ready. Rejoining can create or reconnect community records.

This action can permanently remove local progress and access to a pseudonymous session. It does not request deletion of Hynoe's server records or necessarily revoke tokens already issued. For a server-record request, contact Hynoe privately before losing the information needed to identify your record.

2. Ask Hynoe conversation controls

Clear conversation clears the displayed conversation on the current page. It does not send an erasure request to the help service. Closing the page also does not remove request metrics or help-feedback records already created on the server. Ask Hynoe is separate from public chat, not an offline-only conversation.

3. Community and help records

A request can concern a community authentication identity, profile/display name, chat messages, reactions, moderation reports, Ask Hynoe request or feedback records, or related Hynoe-controlled data. An email-based cloud-save account is not required for these records to exist. A universal self-service server-record deletion control is not currently claimed by this page.

Use the official Hynoe Discord linked from the home page to ask the owner or moderation team for a private conversation. Explain the type of request without sharing identifying details publicly. A separate, publicly verified privacy inbox is not supplied here; establishing one remains necessary before expanding account services.

Never send passwords, session/access tokens, private keys, government ID, or another person's records. Do not post a player's identifier, a child's information, legal name, email address, or private evidence in a public Discord channel or GitHub issue. Verification should be limited to what is reasonably necessary to locate the record and avoid disclosing another person's data.

3a. Minecraft Chat and connected copies

Tell the moderation team if your request concerns Minecraft Chat. That channel relays website posts to Discord and the Minecraft server, and connected services can hold separate message history or logs. Provide the channel and approximate message time through the private contact route above. Clearing website storage does not delete these connected copies; removing a message in one service does not establish that every copy was removed.

4. Leaderboard publication

Turn off Publish my score to stop future score submissions. This does not automatically remove an existing public ranking. Request review or deletion of the existing record through the private route above. Other people may have copied material that was already public.

5. Access, correction, deletion, and other rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, or related rights. Use the same private route for Hynoe-controlled server information. Parents or guardians concerned about a child's information should identify that concern privately, without posting the child's details in public.

A request is not complete merely because it was submitted. Hynoe must locate and, where appropriate, verify it, assess applicable obligations and any lawful retention exceptions, and communicate the outcome. Security, legal obligations, or a dispute may require limited retention; no automatic removal of all backups or other people's copies is promised.

6. Independent services and security reports

Deleting Hynoe records does not delete a YouTube, Google, Discord, Streamlabs, or other independent account. Use the relevant provider's account or rights controls for records it controls. Where a provider processes records on Hynoe's behalf, that is distinct from an unrelated third-party account.

Report vulnerabilities privately. Do not put exploit details or credentials in public issues. Reading this page does not load the community panel, reconnect its session, or start a video player.
